Client Difficulty with Intuit Link

I just sent out a batch invite to clients to use Intuit Link for submission of tax forms. Firsst time to try to use this service. Only one response after two weeks: Client reports that he is unable to log on because his "email is not known." I know that his email is correct because he has used it before. What can be the issue?
