Can you file a superceded individual 1040 return in Proconnect or does it need to be an amended return?

    No you can't efile a superceded 1040. (This is one of my spelling error pet peeves.😏)

    Beginning with 2022 returns, IRS allows superseded 1040s, but apparently ProConnect does not.

    In a ProSeries post, people said they went to the input for 1040X and there was a box to check for superseded. You could look for that.

    The more I know the more I don’t know.
