Question

Can I view a 2020 tax return in ProConnect after converting Lacerte 2020 clients to ProConnect? I have converted the data and only see 2021 viewing option. TY

Upper left where you see 2021 is actually a drop down to see all years available. Try selecting 2020.

Review (Check Return) for the 2020 returns to verify accuracy of conversion, then roll them to 2021 https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/customer-lists/help/how-do-i-proforma-or-roll-over-my-prior-year-returns-into/00/5032

    Thank you for your reply - I thought after converting I could actually view the 2020 Tax Forms.  I can see the 2020 figures under the check return option (in the 2021 Tax Return Screen) but not in the actual 2020 Form 1040 format - it appears that option is not available unless I recreate the 2020 return.  Converted clients are only showing up in 2021, no clients are listed under 2021.

    I was just guessing as to what I THOUGHT the process would be. It appears they do the conversion and proforma all in one. Not what I would have expected or wanted. Sorry.
