Question

Can I talk to a representative regarding the splitting of a return that does not yield the same result as the MFJ vs MFS worksheet?

Is there a way to get the supporting schedules, i.e. Form 1116, to help yield the same result.

It may not yield the same result. The MFJ vs MFS worksheet is a first draft so to speak.

You need to carefully check everything.

If you can get through to support I doubt this is something they would help with as this is tax return prep not tax software issue.

In case you didn't know, this is not Support.

We are volunteer users of the software who try to help out our fellow man/;woman/them.

The more I know the more I don’t know.
