California Now Conform with Federal HSA deduction, But Proconnect Tax is not incorporate this yet
AB 727 amended on 01/03/2022 allow the same deduction on a California personal income tax return for contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA) and exclusions from gross income for distribution from, or contributions to, an HSA, as is allowed on a federal individual income tax return for the same taxable year. However, Proconnect Tax generated Schedule CA still automatically added the HSA contribution back under the old rule on line 1a column C or Line 13 column B. Are we expecting an update on this?
