CA - Ref #13396 HSA CONTRIBUTIONS

My client has a critical diagnostic to report HSA contributions as an add on to CA - the W2 already shows those contributions were added but I still get the diagnostic!

Federal wages are exactly the $2800 in contributions lower than CA

How do I get rid of the diagnostic? Can I add back a negative number??

    Regardless of what the W-2 says or how you entered it, is the adjustment showing up on the CA return?

    The more I know the more I don’t know.
