CA individual return was submitted 4/18/2023 - but tax payment due has not been withdrawn yet from bank account

Hello, 

Does anyone know how long it takes CA to withdraw the tax due amount from bank account after submitting the return?

Any electronic payments can take awhile to be processed.  Give it a little time.

    Thank you for your reply. But CA won't count processing time as late payment, correct?  

    Client is anxious about payment not being withdrawn. Lol.

    As long as the return was transmitted timely, there shouldn't be any issues.
