Is there a way to enter part year use for business use of home? I don't see anywhere to enter these in Form 8829 nor Schedule C. Is ProConnect automatically calculating the months used somewhere?

Hi @FCO , Percentage of use for business use of home on the Form 8829 screen calculates from the business vs total area square footage, and then also there is a business percentage override field (if used) about 4 fields down from those fields as well that can be used. Otherwise, it will derive the business percentage from the Schedule C screen using the field which is at the bottom of that screen called Percentage of source income (PY/NR) if you have multiple states. If using that field you would enter the months as a percentage of 12 to tell Proconnect it was not for the full year. So, in short, it depends on what all is in your return in terms of the states for that business income. @Intuit_Kallana Thank you so much for your quick response! I was just looking at date entries and totally ignored to look at it percentage wise. Appreciate you pointing out those two options.
