Hi @JILL F , depending on your situation the following two are options:

1. Global Print Settings (To hide from the PDF)
You can suppress various depreciation reports from being included in the printed return package:

  • Go to Settings ⮕ Options.
  • Select the Items to Print tab.
  • On the left, select the return type (e.g., Individual, Partnership).
  • Look for Depreciation (AMT) or Depreciation (Regular/AMT/Book) in the list.
  • Uncheck the box for the schedules you do not want to print. This will keep the data in the system but exclude the physical schedule from the PDF/printed copy.

2. Suppressing AMT Adjustments on Specific Assets
If you want to stop the software from calculating AMT differences for a specific asset (which would theoretically stop it from appearing on the AMT schedule):

  • Go to the Depreciation input screen (e.g., Screen 22 for Individuals).
  • Select the specific Asset.
  • Scroll to the Federal Depreciation section.
  • Look for a field often labeled Alternative Minimum Tax [Override] or specific AMT method/life fields.
  • Entering a -1 in an override field typically suppresses that specific calculation for the asset.
