Adding another State's prior year summary

Dear community

How do I add another State's prior year summary information in current year summary?

My clients completed two state tax returns last year because they were part residents in each.

This year only one state.

Dear maryann

I use Lacerte. There is an input page in LC to add prior year tax numbers from the 1040. I would bet dollars to donuts that there is such a page in your software.

Your question still vexes me. I'm afraid to say that your lack of a reply has caused me a small amount of consternation. It has been over 15 minutes since my reply and I it would be natural of me to wonder about you, so new are we to this relationship, online thought it is.

It must be that you haven't forgotten about me! Instead, I have heard that people in your line of work are much in need by others and spend a great deal of time lost in your own thoughts. I won't be upset should you not be able to reply this entire day as I have my own bothers, chores and vexing details of my software.
