Accidentally showed wife w2 as belonging to husband. Is this a problem as all income is showed on joint return

Unless there is something meaningful on the state return as to what each spouse earned, I think you will still be still be walking the streets a free man tomorrow.

If husband and wife W-2s combined exceeded the SS limit, there is a problem.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

If you can with PTO, "fix" it & see if there is a difference.
If you can't - look at the return to see if there is a refund for SS overpaid.  If there isn't, then I agree with Mr. Yote - don't lose any sleep.
