Question

A return is auto generating 1040X, but no 1040X information has been input. Any idea how to remove the 1040X form?

Review the input for Amended return to see if there are entries there.

Check the Profile to see if the box for e-filing amended return is checked. 

Answers are easy. Questions are hard!

Thanks! I had the same problem and found out the Federal 1040x E-file box was checked. I unchecked it and the 1040X disappeared. The return had been converted from a Turbotax 2020 return, so maybe that had something to do with it?
