my client has employer sponsored health insurance. getting this message in suggestion "A Massachussets health care penalty is being calculated. You may want to review your input in the screen titled "Massachusetts Schedule HC".

Not sure what is missing here.

Hi I have been through this for 2019 return.

If you look at page 3 of MA form 1, you will see a penalty is accessed for the tapyer (s).

Go to State & Local/Massachusetts Schedule HC, enter info there so the system knows they are covered under a qualified insurance, the penalty will be removed.

PTO is not designed to read minds. It's a reminder that you should complete the input for Sch HC because individual mandate still applies in MA.

To be clear, it's not the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act -- it is from state legislation passed before that. I think they call it Romneycare, after the governor at the time.
