2553 file corrupted on amended return? This prevents me from e filing

I have an s corp that is being amended.  I keep getting an error saying that form 2553 is corrupt.  Any advice?

Are you making the S-election?  If so, is it a late election?

If you are making the election, have you tried removing the 2553 and then re-attach it?  Or even re-attach a newly made file?
