    Your question isn't completely clear - I'm guessing you have a DVD from the prior preparer that contains some kind of *lecerete* files.

    Here's my post from a recent thread on the same question:

    A Lacerte client consists of 8 (I think..more or less) different folders.

    The prior preparer needs to give you a full backup (from the backup/restore function) , OR actually email the file to you (done from the 'Client' tab at the very top of the page (not the 'Clients tab on the second menu line...).
