1099nec and form 8615

I have a client under 18 who received a 1099NEC form. I've entered it, but the total populates the 8615 form Part 1 line 1 as Child's Unearned Income. The income is earned, the student worked a couple weeks in the summer. Top of 8615 says don't answer if under 18.  Why is Turbo Tax populating Part 1 for 1099 NEC? I'm stumped. Suggestions? Help
