Which tax years can be e-filed this year?

In 2022, it was possible to e-file tax returns for the 2017-2021 tax years. Does anyone know if this year it will also be possible to e-file the 2017 tax year? Thanks!

Hi,

The information we have from CRA, and the ProFile engineers are preparing for, is 2017-2022 T1 returns will accepted for electronic filing as of February 20,2023: ENOA will also be available for these years.

T1 ReFile will be available for tax years, 2019- 2022: so a little bit different then the above.

I contacted the E-file Help Desk today (Feb. 6/23) and I was told that the CRA did not know yet if 2017 would be available-or dropped. We should expect to get an email from the CRA soon.
