Question

The claim made for HBP repayment at field 24600 of Schedule 7 is less than the required repayment.

The required repayment from the client's 2021 Notice of Assessment is the same amount that was entered and repaid on this line. I don't understand why it's giving me an error.

Hi, 

If you are allocating current  year RRSP contributions to repay the HBP, you need to contact CRA. Notwithstanding the information on the NoA, CRA seems to be expecting a different amount

When I have had this problem in the past, I have had to phone the CRA Efile help desk and they have been able to provide an answer immediately. The amount is usually off by a single dollar or something similar
