Question

ProFile plugin SDK documentation mentions registering a custom menu item, but doesn't give any hint on how...

I have my custom plugin for ProFile working nicely, responding to the different callbacks like ExecuteAction, AppOpen, etc... But I need to register a custom menu item, as the SDK mentions in the ExecuteAction description: "The internal name of a menu item or the supplied name of a menu item added by the plug-in." But nowhere in the SDK documentation does it seem to mention even the slightest bit of where to start looking for implementing a custom menu item.

Any direction from the developers or someone who has made a plugin for ProFile would be greatly appreciated. Even if it's just a point in the direction of the right assembly and/or class to look into and I can figure it out from there, I don't require any language specific code, thanks!

(also strange, my post about this from a few days ago seems to be gone now with this forum revamp...)

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community

The SDK is offered through the partner program at the following link:

https://profile.intuit.ca/sdk-for-developers/

Any follow up can be direct through there although the degree of support is limited

Hope this helps

Hi, thanks for the link, but it doesn't appear to let me register a new account there to get started. It gives me a warning saying "This is a private Quick Base site. You must request access from an administrator of intuitcorp.quickbase.com."
