Using Profile release 2020.3.0  Noticed that the non-refundable credits do not prorate UNLESS you also enter earnings in 52930. So to correctly prorate you must enter a value in 52930 of at least $1. This was not a one of occurrance, there were several returns completed for new entries to Canada. Do not rely on only the entry date as it will not prorate with that alone.

Is this something that will be addressed in the next release?

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community

ProFile correctly follows CRA rules for part-year residents as discussed in this  article. If a part year resident reports 100% their world wide income for the tax year on the T1,(they had no foreign income), they are allowed full non-refundables. CRA has information at this link

Hope this helps
