Question

My Client's spouse died in July and profile is calculating transfer of pension only for one month. Should I override of it is correct?

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community

An override should not be required. For the deceased persons return make sure only the date of death is entered. There should not be changes to the marital status nor should there be an entry for date of change on the deceased persons return. When the date of death is entered ProFile will make the necessary entries on the survivors return: no manual entries for marital status or date of change are required.

With the above entries, ProFile will enter the correct information on the T1032 automatically
