Question

I am unable to to unlock previous files after reinstalling Profile so that FX carry forward would work properly

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community

Although 2020 FX should carry forward to 2021 FX even if locked, check in Options > module > Data locking. Make sure lock on carry forward is not check in the client status column.

profile crashed after this and i submitted error report. works now.
