Husband and wife with 2 children. Profile suggests wife complete Form 151 GST/HST Credit and Carbon Benefit Form. But husband is advised by Profile to complete Form RC66 Child Benefit Application. What is going on with Profile?

You cannot "uncheck" #4. You have to choose another incorrect option.  The person is an immigrant and if you choose another option, then you change his/her status.  No, option #4 is correct, but Profile incorrectly instructs the husband to fill out a form RC66 Child Benefits Application, which should only be completed by the mother.


This is correct,  the one applying for CCB with RC66 does not have to apply for CCR. Please review this link

Change to newcomer application form

Newcomers with children should now apply for the GST/HST credit and the Canada Carbon Rebate using Form RC151 upon arrival to Canada.
