Any update on this issue??!! I need to copy that text from every single tax return that I prepare!

Unfortunately Profile has a bug from an update in October that currently prevents this from being an option. They are aware of the issue and claim they are working on fixing it, however it has been 5 months now and I imagine it's not a high priority. Hopefully they get this fixed before Tax season gets going too busy!

No update & they told me the same thing. I have made a word document now that I just use for my client emails and swap out the number details for each client as my work around... regardless it is adding a lot of extra time to my file preparation right now and I cannot imagine having to deal with this as the volume increases in the coming weeks. PROFILE PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

This issue is not resolved in ProFile version released today, 2022.3.5. I will pass on to product development the feedback here

Hi,

Solved means best of answers posted. It does not mean that ProFile has resolved the issue. The ProFile engineers are working on the issue. I apologize for this but, I have been passing the feedback in Community back to the team

Hi Profile,

I am disturbed by this copy paste issue, and i hope it will be solved after end of season.

As a loyal Profile user I will quit and will start using any other efile software if not solved. Profile developer and management don't know what we tax filers are facing problems with customers and clients.

THIS HAS NOT BEEN SOLVED. It is a simple thing that has never been an issue in the past and now all of a sudden we can't copy the text out of Profile? I don't understand why there is no more people complaining about it!? Is it just a few of us that copy the tax results to include in an email to discuss with our clients??! This need to be resolved ASAP.

I believe there is a second thread of equally as enraged tax preparers. This is ridiculous!
