how to claim tuition fee from dependent?

If you are doing the return for the dependant, you just need to link the dependant's return  to parent's return (to do so, on the parent's return, fill ou the name and SIN of the dependant and right click and select the return to be linked)

 

If you do not fill out the dependants return, you can put the tuition fees and the number of months in the section:  transfer from dependants  on the dependant form. It will fill out the numbers automatically in the section at the very bottom of the dependant form (Tuition and education transfer from dependant (post secondary)
