Creating T3 Remittance Voucher

The CRA has now indicated that going forward all T3 payments must be made electronically through your bank or in bank as the bank will remit electronically now.  Problem is that we cannot create vouchers in Profile as far as I can tell.  Is this something ProFile will be adding to the next release?  Currently we have to wait until the NOA comes after 4 months because we will be penalized if we instruct the trustee to mail in the payment.

Profile does not support this form at the moment although it might later,  can you use the one from the CRA website until then ?

I am trying to find information about this. Can you post the link where CRA confirms mailed payments will not be accepted for T3s?

I spoke to a CRA agent.

We can still mail in a cheque for the amount under $10,000.  If it’s $10K and more, CRA wants electronic payment or subject to penalty.

CRA online service does not have a feature to create remittance form for T3 payment as of now.

Another way of paying the balance is to make payment to a deceased SIN (T1), and call CRA to transfer the funds from T1 to T3.
