Hi looking for advice, just efiled a tax return for a client with self employed income who chose not to contribute to her CPP pension.  The profile program has no amount showing on line 42100, but when it was efiled and we check the Express Notice of Assessment is has included $4,000+ to line 42100.  Causing over $3,000 more owing for the client.

What can be done about this without me paying the difference?

Unless your client elected to not pay CPP (which can only be done under very limited circumstances, like if they are over age 65), then paying CPP on self-employed income is not something you can choose not to do.  It is mandatory.
