Copy paste issue from profile letters

Does anyone know when the bug from the update in October, that made it unable to copy the verbiage from client letters to an external document, such as an email? This is going to be a time consuming nightmare during tax season for our electronically filed returns, if we cannot copy certain information from Profile into an email for our clients.

I have exactly same issue since last year, copy from letter could not be pasted in emails.

I have contacted intuit 3 times since the bug in the software started and they said they are working on it, so hopefully soon something will be fixed, however it's been almost 5 months now and I imagine it's not a high ranking tech issue for them to solve sadly.

Any update on this? The last time I called they suggested em to export the letter in PDF, then copy the text from there. If I was doing a couple of tax returns per day, it would not be a problem, but I believe that most Profile users have a much higher volume than that! It just eats up our time and patience. Sorry for venting out.

No update & they told me the same thing. I PDF the odd one however have made a word document now that I just use for my client emails and swap out the number details for each client as my work around... regardless it is adding a lot of extra time to my file preparation right now and I cannot imagine having to deal with this as the volume increases in the coming weeks. PROFILE PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

THIS HAS NOT BEEN SOLVED. It is a simple thing that has never been an issue in the past and now all of a sudden we can't copy the text out of Profile? I don't understand why there is no more people complaining about it!? Is it just a few of us that copy the tax results to include in an email to discuss with our clients??! This need to be resolved ASAP.

Copy from Profie, paste in word and then copy from word and paste to email. That is the solution for now.

YES Haseeb, in this way this work to copy letter from Profile to Word and then from Word to Emails. good solution. But I am worry why Profile could not fix it?
