Carry Forward from 2021 to 2022 T1

I have just filed a return that was missed from 2021 and am now trying to create a new return for 2022 by carrying it forward. When I select Carry Forward and the 2021 file, it just opens it as a 2021 return rather than a new 2022 file for this tax season.

Suggestions are appreciated.

    Hi, can you check if your license is a 2022 license in Help , Manage license menu

    My licence is up to date. It turned out that my VPN was interfering with the software so after shutting it off everything began to work.
