Canada Training Credit

I've done my due diligence on the Canada Training Credit, including a search of the topic on this forum, and I have not found the answer I need.
Situation:
1. Client has a receipt from an 'Certified Educational Institution' listed on the Employment and Social Development Canada site, which is linked to by the CRA for the purpose of identifying institutions for which taxpayers can claim the Canada Training Credit.

2. The amount they spent exceeds their 2023 available Canada Training Credit.

3. The problem is, Profile Schedule 11 Line 32000 takes its input from the T2202 (Tuition Slips) Form but the client doesn't have a T2202, they have a receipt.  So I can override Line 32000 in S11 but that creates a situation where I claim the CTC for 2023 (which is fine) but the excess amount ends up on Line 32300 of the T1.

The simple questions are what the h* am I supposed to do with this?  Is it correct to override Line 32000 on S11?  Should I use the available limit on that line to avoid any excess claim on Line 32300 of the T1 because there is no actual T2202?  Thanks

The requirements to claim the Training Credit do include that they have to have paid an Eligible Educational place, but the requirements also say that the amount paid has to otherwise qualify for the Tuition credit.  If there is no T2202, the tuition does not qualify for the Tuition Credit and therefore will not qualify for the Training Credit.  They will need to get a T2202 from the institution.
