Better way to pick export fields or provide a way to edit a QEX file
Many times I am required to export file information based on a dynamic amount of fields. Usually I am exporting up to 25 dynamic lines to ensure I catch everything. My current example is exporting Operating Expenses from the S125 on a T2. I need the GIFI code and current year balance for as many that are entered.
Based on my understanding, the only way to export this is to manually copy/paste a field code into the export window (by pressing add, then cancelling the select a field and finally pasting the code. Based on my single example above, I have to repeat that clunky process 50 times.
I'd love to just be able to open and edit the QEX file and paste my field codes into it, but I can't find a program that can interpret it correctly. Is there a better solution to this that I am unaware of?
