Would IRS send a notice TODAY to TP of not filing?
Today, client said she received an email that her 1040 was not filed yesterday. She checked her ID.me account this morning and confirmed it
I have Lacerte's e-filing confirmation. It was filed yesterday.
I don't believe that the IRS would send such an email.

Sidenote: I filed 141 tax returns from 1/1 to 4/15. My IRS PTIN account shows that 107 have been filed as of 4/16. I suppose the difference represents tax returns that have not yet been recorded.
