Will Lacerte offer efile of Form 709 for 2025

Does anyone know if Lacerte will offer e-filing of 2025 Form 709s, since the IRS says that it can now be done through the Modernized E-file System?

Please refer to this link for the forms supported for E-file in Lacerte. 2025 Lacerte e-file agency approval and start dates . However, to answer your question, e-filing is not available for gift returns (Form 709).

Will Lacerte update the efile for form 709 for 2025 before the due date of the return?

Other software has electronic efile for 709.

Please Lacerte make this happen!

What part about this, in the link provided:

is not clear?

I'd like to know as well. just called support and they are saying no, but not confident in her response as she originally said that we could efile current and two previous years.

The schedule linked in Lacerte's reply to me says no e-filing for 709 or 706, so I am guessing no. Based on prior experience, Lacerte seems to be one to two years behind when e-file opens up for new forms. They didn't offer it for Charitable Remainder Trust's the first year IRS said it was available, if I recall correctly.
