Why would Lacerte printers randomly change to a PDF viewer?

I have upgraded my PC to a new Windows 10 PC and I have noticed that, at random times, all of my Lacerte programs will change to the default Lacerte PDF printer even if I have manually changed the printers in Lacerte. Being that it happens to all of my Lacerte programs, I want to say that this is a Windows 10 caused issue, but I wanted to see if anything else has had any issues such as this and, if so, the solution.

If you open your printer settings in Win 10, you'll see a checkbox down at the bottom that says "let Windows manage my default printer." Uncheck that box.
