Why is North Carolina still not ready?

We have been waiting almost 2 months now or North Carolina to be ready and there are other programs to which have been filing this state for weeks now. Am I missing something or is Lacerte that behind with this state to get ready?

    NC only opened for efiling today (at least this was the expected date). Some software companies accepted the efiles and held them.

    None of us know why Lacerte does not have the forms ready. We are only users like you.

    The more I know the more I don’t know.

      Understood was hoping there would be someone with more insight. I have a few NC clients that are always asking and it is discouraging that I have to keep telling them the forms are still not ready.
