Question

Why has form 172 not been finalized yet? The IRS has had it out since the beginning of tax season. I'm holding 15 returns so far waiting for it!

    Only Intuit knows that answer and they aren't talking ----------------- and I wouldn't expect them to answer your post now.

    As a side note, if you want to get those returns out the door, consider manually preparing the form from the IRS website and then attach it as a pdf.  When you e-file the return, shut off the error checking feature when you convert it for e-filing.
