Why do IRS issued PINS for 2019 have 6 digits but Lacerte is only allowing 5 digits?

An IP PIN is issued by the IRS and has 6 digits. You must be trying to enter it as an efile PIN-which is any 5 digits and is not issued by the IRS..

The more I know the more I don’t know.

    IP PIN is in Screen 1 near the Driver's License and other personal information.
