Why can't the Lacerte login work for all years of Lacerte?

I often have to use two, or even three, years of Lacerte at one time.  It would be nice if I didn't have to login to each year every time I opened the program.  I'm already logged in to the CY program.  Can Lacerte not recognize this and be a bit "smarter"?

    I agree.  Thomson Reuters allows this feature with their accounting software and it would be a good feature to have for Lacerte as well!
