Why are PDF file sizes so much larger this year?

The size of PDF files for tax returns printed to DMS has exploded for 2024 returns.   For example, a client copy that was only about 300K in prior years is over 3MG in the 2024 product?  Has anyone else experience this?  Is there a fix that will get files size back down to previous years' levels?
