Question

Why am not allowed to open Lacerte 2020? I am able to open Lacerte 2023 with the same password.

      Yep, same for me, no access to either 2021 or 2020.

      On hold with Intuit as we speak.

      Let you know if they resolve the problem.

      Likely because the software wasn't update prior to Dec 31, 2023 (as was necessary per various Intuit notices...).

      Reinstall the software either from 'MyAccount", using ToolHub, or WebSetUp.  

      And no, you won't lose your data [but, of course, you have a good backup (or two) anyway - right?]
