WHERE TO RECORD CANADA RRSP PAYMENT IN LACERTE?

    Reporting Canadian pensions is pretty much the same as doing it for US ones. You report these pensions on Line 16, and it is handled exactly like the US version.

     

    A few things to keep in mind:

    • Make sure all those Canadian values are changed over to US dollars.
    • Claim a foreign tax credit for ‌any  taxes taken out, but remember to convert those to US currency too.

    "The deceased social & the estate's EIN is on the 1099S."  wrong thread.

    Only if they are not refundaable by Canada.

    The more I know the more I don’t know.
