When is Intuit releasing the 2024 tax software?

Based on the posts here, I'm pretty positive it has been out there for awhile or are you looking for a specific form or state?

November 2024. At least a preliminary version to 'play with' was released. The current version is usable for some/less complicated returns. Good thing too, since the flood gates open on Monday.

As @abctax55 and @IRonMaN stated, it has been out for more than a month. It is reasonable complete at this time. Here is how to download and install.

The program was released back in Nov. There are no updates or forms that can be viewed? Efile portal opens today?

You probably need to reinstall the software. It SHOULD be auto updating.

First - Go to Tools > Lacerte Updates > Check for updates and see what it says.

If it does NOT tell you that you are up to date, follow instructions OR

Press the Windows Key and type

2024 Lacerte Web Setup

and run that program to update the software
