What is the best way to review a Lacerte tax return prepared by a staff member

Use the audit checks. Look at the forms. I start with worksheets and check the W-2's, 1099s, then go to Schedule A, etc. When an item is later changes, the color changes from green to red.

    What do you do about reviewing other important entries, such as tax id numbers, tax credits, income tax witholding to a specific state, taxes flowing to Sch A, various K-1s, and the various areas they flow to?
