As in Long-Term Capital gain (loss) [A] on Screen 22 in the partnership module.

Adjust. If you enter a number it will adjust the calculated amount by what you enter.

[O] means Override. Whatever you enter will override the calculated amount.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

    What Susan said.... but a word of advice.  Use the override function very, very carefully.  Despite support issues, etc - Lacerte is most often right.
