Update Preparer Field in Bulk

Hi, is there a way to update the Preparer field on clients in bulk? We have a partner who left and we need to update all her clients. Thanks

    Not exactly, but you could go Settings>Options>Preparers and edit that preparer name/SSN/etc. to be a different preparer and that would be applied to all of the tax returns with that preparer selected.

      In order to change the actual datum of Preparer # (or Staff Preparer), set up an ODBC connection for that year & module, open the Data1 file/Client Info table, and find-and-replace <old person's #> with <NEW person's #>, so that all "17" now say "23", for example.
