anyone know if I can file a MFS return and exclude 10.2 unemployment benefits for each separate spouse even if only one spouse had unemployment? That what the lacerte software seems to be calculating. A few weeks ago the lacerte was allowing only the spouse with the unemployment the 10.2 K exclusion on a MFS return; now when I run the same scenario, lacerte excludes 10.2K from each spouses income.

Thank you. It would have been nice if Lacerte posted a notice / alert as to such an important change. I see one day the calculations just magically changed in the software
