I've transferred my clients to 2020, but they are not visible in 2020 program

In the 2019 Lacerte program, go to the Tools menu.
Then click Transfer Clients (Proforma) and click Next at the Welcome screen.
Select the Select specific clients from the Individual Tax program option and click Next.
Select Custom and click Next.
Select the clients you want to transfer and click the Add button. This will move the client(s) to the Clients to Transfer pane.
Click Next.
Verify the Destination Directory (look for any errors, misspelled words, or extra characters). This directory should be the same as your 2020 Lacerte Individual Data Path.

Getting the wrong directory is the most common reason

Open Lacerte 2020 and the transfer will be automatically completed. If Lacerte was already opened, from the Client menu, choose Refresh Also verify the Directory
