Tax payments not being deducted

Has anyone else had problems with clients 5/17 IRS tax payments not being deducted from the client's bank accounts?  I have 2 so far.

      We're talking payments, Not Refunds.  The longer we wait the more penalties get added.

      An eventually-successful direct debit request sent with a timely-filed return will be treated as paid on May 17th, even if the IRS takes longer to actually take their money.

        April 15 was taking 7 to 10 days to process.
        I did have one person file early and the 5/17 payment showed up on 5/15. IRS is trying really hard, but they also had a tough tax season.
        Answers are easy. Questions are hard!
