Suppressing estimated tax vouchers when client opts for electronic payments

Are we STILL killing trees in 2026?  I am revisiting this topic again in 2026.  Clients are setting up electronic payments of quarterly estimated tax payments. Is there any way to suppress the printing of the quarterly estimated tax vouchers?  Please don't tell me to shred them.  It's a waste of paper and resources!  Surely there is a way to suppress printing vouchers in the software.  Anyone?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer my question during busy season!!!

You're still wasting trees by printing paper returns?

The more I know the more I don’t know.

ProSeries can shut them off from printing using print options.  Lacerte doesn't come with such a luxurious option?

And for the record, loggers need to work too. 😉

Lacerte will never make this change. We disabled estimate vouchers in the client copy, but they won't even give us the ability to disable printing some e-filed local returns, complete with all supporting documentation, with the government copy -- we can no longer just let the gov't copy go to the printer. Instead, we have to print to PDF and delete the unnecessary pages. I'm not kidding, sometimes this means removing over 50 pages that had no reason to print. If it was just 4-8 estimate vouchers I was worried about, I'd be thrilled!!
