Assuming you have installed 2024 and also updated to the most recent versions of 2023, 2022, 2021, I found that the Single Sign On functionality did not work until I had powered my computer down entirely and started it again. Just a "restart" after installing updates did not allow the SSO functionality to work.

After powering down and starting, you can open one year with your password and MFA, then click on another year's program and it should open without requiring you to re-enter your password and MFA. You still need to click on the other year's program and open it. For example, you will not be able to open 2023 from inside the 2024 program.

    Hope that helps.
